Our Mission:

At Al Vintage Vibes, we’re on a mission to inspire and increase literacy in marginalized communities where access is limited. We believe that everyone deserves the power of knowledge and the joy of reading. 

Our book collections span from fantasy to history, autobiographies to sci-fi—and everything in between. And because we know a great book is even better with the right accessories, each collection comes with the cutest little extras to make your reading experience even more special. 

That’s why we created the Cultural Collection: a celebration of Latine authors and Mexican heritage, designed to help readers not only enjoy compelling stories but also feel proud of their roots. Plus, we’re always thinking of fresh ways to surprise you—like adding book-inspired earrings to our next permanent collection (stay tuned!).

Whether you’re an adult or a child, we believe every book is a chance to live a thousand lives.

Luissa is the child of Mexican immigrants and is incredibly proud of her culture and heritage. She was raised in a small town in Alabama where she discovered her love for reading in school, burning through all of the Nancy Drew novels. As an adult, Luissa reignited her love for reading when she purchased "And the Mountains Echoed" by K haled Hosseini. The way Khaled described everything, her imagination took her to every place he described in his book.

With her love for reading reignited, she also developed a love for vintage accessories. She combined the two and now shares it with others.

Luissa is a certified trainer in Leadership and DEI (I&B). She loves reading leadership books to encourage people and bring out their inner leader.  She focuses on  Latino leadership. Helping bridge culture and positions together to increase their leadership skills.  Her passion for reading and executing leadership sessions has been the foundation for her shop. 

Al Vintage Vibes is a proud Latina-Muslim-owned small business based in the heart of Texas. "De mi casa a tu casa," from my house to yours.
